Yesterday I photographed Rachael from Erie High School. You might of remembered Kelsey from several posts ago. These two attend two different schools but are the best of friends and play ball together. Rachael and I got lucky during her shoot. The last week afternoon thundershowers have rolled in everyday. It looked like the session might of been canceled before and during. We had the perfect window to photograph between two storms. I also was able to use my new thrifty find of a chair in the middle of a wheat field for the session. I found the chair at a used furniture store for $15, it had so much character that I had to buy it. At the end of the session, we decided to play in the middle of the road with some off camera lighting for a little bit more of dramatic light. Here is a sneak peak from her session. Should have her music video up in the next day or so.

Had an incredible session with Ali yesterday in downtown Denver. Ali choose to add on professional makeup to her session and she looked fabulous. The wonderful Janine from Makeup By Janine did another fantastic job for us. Girls if you are wanting professional makeup done for your senior session, Janine is your girl. You can schedule her makeup session through us right before your senior session. I know school just got out, but it’s never too early to get your senior pics done, there are still session slots available for June. Ali attends Lakewood High School and is looking at attending Michigan or CU for medical school. Thank Ali for trekking around Denver for your session. I had a great time getting to know you and your mom. Have a great summer!!!

We were so lucky to have so many great models for the KISS workshop. Caitlyn was another senior from Ponderosa High School that came to Denver for the all day KISS workshop. She was so full of life, engergetic, and beautiful. I had a great time photographing her. Check out some of her photos from the KISS workshop. Trevor and I hung out yesterday for his Senior Model Rep session in downtown Denver. Trevor goes to Pomona High School and will be handing out his rep cards with discounts for senior sessions. If you know him, track him down and get a card from him. Trevor is into the drums and also Parkour/freerunning. If you want to see what it is all about check out You Tube for some crazy videos. He showed me his mad skills, and of course I had to capture it. Take a look at the last photo of him doing a flip-AMAZING. I will be posting his music video soon, so come back to check it out.

It’s that time of year again. Spring is coming and that means the Class of 2010 will be graduating soon. With graduation comes Senior Grad Announcements. Kammi does all the graphic design work for Roka Studios. She does albums, grad cards, canvas art and all our marketing material. Here is a sample of Kayleigh’s grad announcement that was printed on metallic paper. Kaleigh came on the Senior Rock Star Tour last June. Speaking of the Senior Rock Star Tour, we still have some spots open for both summer dates. There are only 15 spots per date. Check out the website for more information.

Just wanted to share the awesome design my wife did of Emily’s Model Rep Cards. She will be passing these out to her friends with special discount to get your senior photos done by Roka Studios.
